Olyimpics!

I love the Olympics! when it was on and we were in Dorset I watched everything! completely mad about it, didn't miss a moment. to feel a part of it we went to Waymouth, via park and ride which in itself was good fun, and watched the Olympic sailing on the big screens on the Beach. to fill out more time in Dorset and to always remember the awesomeness of it, I made/am making a Olympic collage thing from pictures in the newspapers of cool people/events I remember and I am sticking it in a frame on my wall to remember forever :D
on one of the last days before we left, we went to waymouth again and because I dearly wanted a Olympic souvenir dad suggested I bring scissors (witch I did) so that we could cut down one of the banners by the roads, unfortunately the opportunity never arose so instead we went to the official 2012 shop and bought a little flag :)
Also its all about inspiring a generation and all that and I recon it certainly has inspired me, my plan is to go to a Olympic games at some point I don't mind if its as a spectator, volunteer, athlete or anything else I just want to be there, just in case, with dads help I am  considering get into running, or at least start running with him.
 paralimpics opning ceromony tonight, yay.

Hollidays; Dorset

The section of the holidays that we spent in Dorset consisted entirely of walking/driving in the rain, going to beaches/hills, eating at cafes and watching the Olympics! (I love the Olympics so much! more on that later)
we also bought a football table (Evy's dream) from a second hand shop, it was also dads birthday at some point, I got him a wooden model plane set (witch he then had to buy the instructions for off e-bay for more that the wood cost) but it did come with lovely plane blueprints.we also went to Bridport festival which is basically a parade of cool people in costumes. and we went mackerel fishing in lime, took lots of random photos on the i pad, saw Olympic (yay) sailing in Waymouth, went to a small art thing in a Church and that's about it.

hollidays; Ireland

for the first week or so of the holidays we went to Ireland, I it much cooler than England. we went to Waterford first and visited granny looked around town; saw a motorbike festival thing and went to Penny's, and sleeped lots to recover from ferry sleepiness. then we went to fermoy and met other granny and then Annie, Mary Jo, Simon, Sam, maria, bob (the dog), jack (also a dog) and we had great fun! unfortunately the weather was awful so we spent most of our time indoors watching the Olympics, (and only hearing about Irish athletes who I had never heard of) and hunting for wifi! since the House had no wifi me Connor and Evy had to hunt around town for free wifi pubs and cafes this was also good fun. we also went to the beatch on the one day the weather was good, and I made some cool paintings on the I pad. and we went to a fiew castles and forts and we ate much cake and tea. (Evy also dyed her hair pink in the middle of this) after we left fermoy (far to early) we popped back to Waterford to have lunch with Tony and a previously unknown awesome cousin we then got the ferry at a ridicules time of night and went back to England, thankfully the ferry did have wifi.
